First of all, I'd like to point out that all reviews published on this blog are done so with the greatest respect to the authors of the works in question. As a writer myself I understand that a work of literature, whatever the length or genre, consists of myriad fragments of a person's mind, heart, and soul, and no one can truly state whether said work is worthwhile. I merely review in order to offer a sense of enlightenment to potential readers to help guide those with particular tastes toward books that they are likely to find enjoyable. Because reading is meant to be just that - enjoyable, and we each deserve to get the most out of what we choose to read.
My posts and the comments left by others are not to lead toward discussions on the negative aspects of authors and their works, unless it is constructive. Therefore, please no bitching for the sake of smacking your fingertips on your keyboard, and I'll endeavour to do the same. Thanks :)
In the interest of all readers, NO SPOILERS PLEASE. When commenting on a review for a book that you have read, please remember that others are searching to find their next literary treasure. Spoiler comments will be removed as soon as I am aware of them. I make the greatest effort not to spoil the contents of the books which I review. On the same note, it is likely that reviews for sequels and/or later books in sagas/series/trilogies may contain a certain degree of spoiler material for the previous books. I will attempt not to spoil the story for the book on which the review is based, but the background for the story may give away conclusions for prior titles.
Any requests or questions made will be attended to with a response as quickly as possible, so please be patient - I don't only work on this blog throughout the day!
I hope you enjoy that which you read on here, and thanks for visiting - come back again soon :)
